Intention: Know why you are doing this. Write down your intent. We recommend that you keep a journal. We highly encourage you to start off Microdosing. Myco Church microdosing capsules are .05g(50mg) .1g (100mg), .2g (200mg) or .3g (300mg) (you may use loose powder to tailor your dose) and we recommended the Fideman protocol, one every 3 days, to start. Once you have success with this protocol, experimenting responsibly with a macrodose is encouraged. This is our chosen schedule but there are many more to choose from . (see below the 6 common protocols)

Environment, Mental and Physical : When macrodosing, we highly recommend having access to a natural outdoor setting and a comfy bed. This is imperative. Do not drive a vehicle of any kind.

While microdosing, once you know how your body reacts you should be able to go about you daily life with little to no noticeable effects.

Your mindset, personality and mental state going into the experience are important.
The attitude you have going into the journey will create the reality that you experience.

Consumption:
Tea, Honey infusion, Chocolate bars, Capsules.

Microdosing Tea:  Place desired amount of powder and tea of choice into Tea Bag. Steep in hot water for 10-15 minutes.

Dosage Chart*:

up to – .3 grams = Microdose 150mg-300mg

.5 – 1 grams = Common Dose 500mg-1000mg

2.5 – 4 grams = Strong 2500mg-4000mg

4.5 – 6 grams = Shamanic.. **Experience required**

7- 40 grams = Cosmic AF **Guide/Companion/Coach required**

We recommend everyone start by microdosing,

Creating a good experience:

Start Small: 0.5g – .3g. See dosage chart, again we recommend everyone starting off microdosing.

Music: Something with no lyrics, relaxing, calm, “meditational music”.
DO NOT LOOP OR REPEAT MUSIC, keep the energy flowing.

Timing: Do not have anything to do for 10 to 24 hours.
DO NOT DRIVE! DO NOT WORK! NO STRESSFUL SITUATIONS! unless on a controlled microdosing schedule.

A Complete Guide to Microdosing Protocols

Microdosing is the practice of taking small or sub-perceptual doses without the impact of a hallucinogenic high, ensuring a safe, therapeutic experience known to improve productivity, creativity, and general well-being.

Dr. James Fadiman, is our suggested place to start for beginners. Keep in mind that every approach has its pros and cons and being open to alternatives can allow for a more fulfilling experience. Six most common.

1. Fadiman Protocol

Dr. James Fadiman’s work into the study of psychedelics spans decades, with a series of publications continuously demonstrating the power of microdosing and its benefits. This 3-day protocol works as follows:

Day 1: Microdosing day

Day 2: Transition day

Day 3: Normal day

Cycle: Continue for 4 to 8 weeks

Reset: Break for 2 to 4 weeks

Beginners are advised to first try the Fadiman protocol for one month. Followed by a 2 week tolerance break.

2. Two Fixed Days Per Week

This alternative removes the unpredictability by setting two days a week aside for microdosing. Experts advise to keep one day free between doses, according to this schedule:

Day 1: First microdosing day (for example, Monday)

Day 2: Transition day

Day 3: Normal day

Day 4: Second microdosing day (for example, Thursday)

Day 5: Transition day

Day 6: Normal day

Day 7: Normal day

Cycle: Continue for 4 to 8 weeks

Reset: Break for 2 to 4 weeks

3. Every Other Day

The third approach is not recommended for everyone and should be considered carefully. Having said that, research has shown that certain groups, in particular those dealing with pain or mental health issues, actually benefit more from microdosing every other day. The protocol is as simple as it sounds:

Day 1: Microdosing day

Day 2: Transition day

Cycle: Continue for 4 to 8 weeks

Reset: Break for 2 to 4 weeks

4. Nightcap

This protocol can be followed according to either the Every Other Day approach or Fadiman’s scheduling, with the only difference being, the microdose is taken at night. This alternative makes the perfect choice for those who experience some day-time fatigue as a result of the psychedelics. Those opting for the nightcap method should consume the dose an hour before going to bed.

5. Stamets Stacking Formula

This method involves the combination of three elements: psilocybin, vitamin B3 (or Niacin) and lion’s mane mushroom. Stamets believes that the two compounds extracted from the fungi can not only create new neural pathways, but also repair existing damage. Niacin completes the trio to add deliverability, helping to distribute the molecules. The formula follows a four-days-on, three-days-off cycle.

Day 1 – 4: Microdosing four consecutive days

Day 5 – 7: Rest/normal days

Cycle: Continue for up to 1 month

Reset: Break for 2 to 4 weeks

6. Intuitive

As the name suggests, the final protocol refers to a more natural means of microdosing. Generally, those with more experience, who have perhaps already completed numerous cycles using the Fadiman protocol, tend to switch to a more spontaneous approach, microdosing as and when desired. The only rule with the intuitive protocol is to leave a minimum of one day between each dosage.
